In Hamilton County, one in three residents lives in unaffordable housing. This means that families in our community are making impossible choices between rent and other basic needs.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 17th, as our Crescent Parishes unite with Habitat for Humanity in a collective mission to construct a home for a Cincinnati family. (exact location to be determined soon). At the core of this collaboration is Habitat for Humanity's dedication to breaking the cycle of poverty by building affordable housing for those facing significant challenges.
This Love in Action event invites our Crescent Parishes community to come together in unity and meaningful fellowship, joining hands and hearts in a variety of tasks, spanning from raising walls to hanging drywall and painting.
We are looking for 30 volunteers. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Slots will fill up quickly, so please ensure that you register ASAP. Lunch will be provided. Sign up for a morning shift (8:30-12pm) or an afternoon shift (12:30-4pm) or join us for the full day!
To register, please complete the form here. Questions? Please contact Meg Anderson at [email protected].
Please join us as we unite on this day not only to construct a home, but to build hope, community, and a brighter future for those in great need!
