Bambinelli Sunday

On Dec. 15 which is liturgically known as Gaudete Sunday, the 3rd Sunday of Advent we invite the children of the parish to bring their Christ-child figure from the creche at their home to church for a blessing. A similar blessing has been celebrated in Rome by the Pope for many years.  To emphasize our liturgy we will have young people as lectors, choir members, gift bearers, etc. The children who attend Atrium (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd) will come over for the blessing which happens with the final blessing at Mass. Nativity School music teacher Mr. Jim Gillum will join our music folks for this Mass.
