Father Michael J. McGivney established the Knights of Columbus based on the core principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. These principles form the bedrock of our organization's Core Values:
Together, we empower Catholic men to live their faith in various aspects of their lives—be it at home, within their parish, at work, or within their community.
Knights come from diverse backgrounds and stages of life, representing numerous corners of the world. We invite you to join us as we celebrate genuine role models in a world that yearns for men who are willing to serve, protect, and defend.

Men on a Mission
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, NRSV).
Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.
Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.
Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need. Since 1975, more than 600,000 people from more than 13,000 congregations and other organizations have been trained as Stephen Ministers.
Care Receivers are individuals in the congregation or community who are going through a crisis or life difficulty. Potential care receivers first meet with a pastor or Stephen Leader, who assesses their needs for care and matches them with a Stephen Minister. The caring relationship lasts for as long as the need persists.
Stephen Minister Training

- is highly interactive, engaging, and a lot of fun!
Stephen Minister training is an engaging, energizing experience that features a mixture of presentation, video, group discussion, skill practice, and spiritual growth activities. Since 1975, more than 600,000 Stephen Ministers have been equipped by this training to provide care to millions of people.

The Crescent Parishes Garden ministry aims to address the urgent issue of food insecurity by providing nourishment to those in great need at various St. Vincent de Paul food pantries in the Cincinnati area.
The Crescent Parishes Garden also serves as an example of love in action, bringing together our family of parishes in a shared endeavor of compassion and care. By working together in the garden, we not only cultivate crops but also cultivate a spirit of togetherness, demonstrating the power of collective action to make a positive impact in our community.
For more information or to volunteer at the Crescent Parishes Garden, please reach out to Meg Anderson.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at the Church of the Resurrection sponsors a food pantry which provides vouchers for clothing, furniture and household products, and conducts our Christmas gift give-away. Members stock the shelves, cook the meals, process the forms, answer the phone and serve the poor in a variety of ways.
The Food Pantry in Bond Hill is open on most Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m, except when there is a 5th Wednesday of the month, the Food Pantry is not open. There are many ways to help, even if it is answering the cell phone at your home and setting up appointments for people to come to the food pantries.
For more information or to sign up to volunteer, please contact the Church of the Resurrection's Office at 513-242-0400.
St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay organization of volunteers that provide assistance to those in need and is sustained by the generosity of our Crescent Parishes through food drives, Sunday collections and vouchers for clothing, furniture and household products.

The St John Dad’s and Men’s Club is a group of men dedicated to the continued support of St John the Evangelist Parish. Our primary contributions are through time and talent. We also run many fundraisers (Fish Fry’s – Las Vegas Night – Corn hole Tournament – 250 Club – golf outing - Festival set-up and tear-down - etc.) Through our time, talent and fundraisers, we have remodeled the gym and Letterest Hall; helped pay for new roofs, floors and windows; replacement, repairs and upkeep of the boilers; paid for and replaced sidewalks around school and streets, among many other projects.
One of the most important aspects is the fellowship that we foster for our group and the St. John parish as a whole. We meet every first Monday of the month at 8pm in Letterest Hall. New members are always welcome.

Faith Community Nursing Blood Pressure Screenings Coming Soon
We are excited to introduce Faith Community Nursing, a new ministry in our Crescent Parishes Family! This initiative has been made possible through the dedicated vision of Ann Spaeth, a highly experienced nurse with over 30 years of devoted service at Mercy Hospital.
Beginning this Fall, Faith Community Nursing will be providing a valuable service by offering blood pressure screenings for our Crescent Family. High blood pressure, often a silent threat until it leads to serious health complications, impacts many lives. We are seeking volunteers, including nurses and medical professionals to join us in this wonderful ministry by dedicating one hour a month to help with screenings. If interested in volunteering, please contact Meg Anderson.
